Η  Εύα Γεράκη γεννήθηκε στον Πειραιά το 1976.
Πήρε το πτυχίο της στην ζωγραφική απο την Ανωτάτη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης με δάσκαλο τον Βαγγέλη Δημητρέα. 

Έχει φιλοτεχνήσει εικονογραφήσεις για το Διεθνές Κέντρο Ολυμπιακής Εκεχειρίας, για λογοτεχνικά βιβλία και για τις αφίσες του φεστιβάλ Σύμης. Έχει διδάξει σε πολυάριθμα ιδιωτικά και δημόσια σχολεία , σε όλες τις βαθμίδες. Aπο το 2004 έχει δημιουργήσει το δικό της εργαστήριο το ΧΡΩΜΑ όπου παραδίδει μαθήματα ζωγραφικής σε παιδιά και ενήλικες. (www.chroma-art.gr)

Έχει λάβει μέρος σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις που έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί στην Αθήνα, στην Θεσσαλονίκη και στο εξωτερικό. Τον Δεκέμβριο του 2016 συμμετείχε στην ART Thessaloniki και τον Οκτώβριο του 2016 παρουσίασε την ατομική της δουλειά στο συνεδριακό χώρο της Ευρωπαικής 'Ενωσης Art Atrium-Covent Garden στις Βρυξέλλες. Tον Απρίλιο του 2017 συμμετείχε στο Plattforms Project και τον Φεβρουάριο του 2018 στην έκθεση "no suggar added" στην gallery "depot"  στην Αθήνα. Επίσης έχει συμμετάσχει με έργα της τον  Μάρτιο του 2019 στο ίδρυμα Τσιχριτζή και τον Mάρτιο του 2021 στην OSTEN ART Skopje BIENNIAL of DRAWING. 

Το καλοκαίρι του 2023 παρουσίασε την ενότητα έργων της με τίτλο "peace of mind" στο πνευματικό κέντρο του Δήμου Σύμης στο Γιαλό.

Eva Geraki was born in Piraeus where she lives and works until today. In the year 1996 she succeeds to pass for the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotele University of Thessaloniki. Since 2002 she works for the education, whilst since 2004 she manages her own workshop of artistic creation, where she teaches painting and drawing for children and adults. (www.chroma-art.gr)

Her paintings can be found in private collections and public places. She got participated in group exhibitions that took place in Athens,Thessaloniki and aboard.

 In the year 2016 she presented her work at Covent Garden Conference Center  at Brussels, also she got participate at platforms project 2017 and at art Thessaloniki 2018 also in March 2019 at the Tsichritzi foundation, and in March 2021 at the OSTEN ART Skopje BIENNIAL of DRAWING.

She uses mixed media in her painting and intense colors!

 

Her work, "daydreaming", is about exploring through painting notions of identity and place, seemingly ordinary and fleeting into the supernatural. 
Eva's paintings are informed by visualizing reality through her artistic language, working her "dream square" on a canvas. 
She paints using oil and mixed techniques with various materials. Her work (anthropocentric or not) can be characterized by intense chromatic forms. Her artistic point of view penetrates into the images of voyages as seen from waiting rooms of traveling media. The movement and the static of the figures and their environment are the inspiring source of her creations.

In the summer of 2023, she presented her works entitled "peace of mind" at the spiritual center of the Municipality of Symi in Gialos.
